CEDAR POINT FAMILY SERVICES and LATINOS FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
New Directions Treatment Services focuses primarily on Drug/Alcohol treatment, Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic services and several other services to benefit the public. Drug/Alcohol services include Methadone treatment, Suboxone/Buprenorphine treatment and D.U.I. assessment and treatment. The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic services provide assistance with a wide variety of Mental Health issues. Other services are provided as well, including smoking cessation and HIV testing.
Drug/Alcohol Services:
METHADONE TREATMENT - Outpatient services at our Bethlehem Township (610-434-6890, then 0) and West Reading (610-478-0646 x 35) facilities. Medical Assistance/Health-Choices or self-pay accepted. Mental Health services also available at each site. HIV and Hepatitis C treatment is available at both sites. We will do prison dosing as needed, and we also have on-site child care. Dosing hours: 5:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Easy access by bus. Self-pay fee starts at $25/week.
SUBOXONE/BUPRENORPHINE - Same locations as for methadone information (see above) and also regarding insurance/other payment. Call 610-478-0646 x 35 in the Reading area and 610-758-8011 x 118 in the Lehigh Valley.
D.U.I. - Assessment and treatment, including intensive outpatient (I.O.P.), are available for Lehigh and Northampton county residents. Call 610-758-8011 x 102.
Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Services:
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES - Available under the "Cedar Point" name at both our Bethlehem Township (484-821-2922) and West Reading sites (610-478-0646). We accept Medical Assistance/HealthChoices, Blue Cross, and self-pay as payment (most self-pay are largely or entirely paid for by the county of residence).
Other Services:
SMOKING CESSATION and HIV TESTING are available by calling the Latinos for Healthy Communities division in Allentown at 610-434-6890, then 0. These services are free for most people, i.e., are government-funded.
